Would love to work with kids in a hospital setting, but would not like to be a pediatrician. I am thinking of maybe being a pediatric nurse, but would not like to work in the emergency room or intensive care. Can anyone tell me what other areas of the hospital there are to work at where you still work with children? Or any other medical jobs working with children where I don’t have to go to school for more than 5 years? I appreciate your help.

Can anybody tell me what are some good jobs that involve working with kids in the medical field?

You could be a medical assistant in a children’s clinic.
Look into: Speech language pathologist, physical therapist or occupational therapist. These three careers require a master’s degree before you can practice as a therapist but you make great pay and are in demand. You can also become a physical therapy assistant or a occupational therapy assistant, which will take 2 to 3 years in length.
