Can I go to Uconn and become a pediatrician?

I don’t know much on the subject and would just like a clear answer. In order to become a pediatric registered nurse could I get a nursing degree at Uconn and then go to a hospital to get my pediatric training or would I have to go to another school after or possibly would I have to go to a completely different school than Uconn to be able to become a pediatrician. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

My daughter is 10 months old and had to go to the ER on Monday afternoon and they looked at her like she was an alien or something…the tried to draw blood from her FOUR times and was unsuccessful all four times. I am very disappointed in the care that they gave her and the way they treated her, so I was wondering if anyone would recommend a hospital with a good pediatric unit in my area.
The women’s hospital at nea baptist did great with her when she was born, so that is where i took her to the er, but i am very disappointed with their ability to handle an infant in their er. I guess i will have to drive to memphis or little rock next time something happens. Luckily memphis is only about 45 minutes from my hometown.

i would like to go to college for nursing and was wondering what colleges i should look at. i am looking to be in or near the city. Also it would be nice if the college had a pediatric hospital near by.

I have a Bachelors in Psychology. I’m thinking about becoming a CNA before I commit to Nursing school. What are the chances I could get a job at a hospital in a Pediatric unit or NICU? She just told me today about her health condition which is requiring her to undergo some more tests and even go to a children’s hospital (We are in our early twenties and some hospitals still consider up to 25 pediatric patients). I mean I am worried but would you be mad at all she didn’t tell you sooner? I don’t know how to react.

I am going to a community college soon to become an RN and i am confused on how to become a pediatric nurse after that. I would rather work in a clinic then a hospital, so would i become an RN and apply straight to the clinic and get my training there? And i understand there is a such thing between a pediatric nurse and a pediatric nurse practitioner.. I want to become just a pediatric nurse.
