getting her into a sleep routine as soon as we can. We tried to put her down at 8pm last night and it didn’t work at all. We don’t expect her to sleep through the night, as she wakes up every 3 or 4 hours throughout the night to eat (breastfeed). Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

No, but they didn’t act like K not sleeping through the night was an issue and I didn’t present it to them as an issue either, so they haven’t given any advice on that subject.
A friend of mine said the county “smart start” nurse who checks on new babies at home (if you sign up) told her to use Benadryl to get her son back to napping. It didn’t make sense to me because it seems that he’d nap great only if he had the meds, not like it would transform his sleep habits when she stopped using it. When she told me about that, I looked on the website and I think it had a warning not to give kids under 4 (not sure of the age–def. not babies) benadryl.
If the doctor recommended it for its normal purpose, I might give it to her, but I don’t think I’d be comfortable giving it to her for sleeping.

He told me I could mix them, then after 3 days add a little meat, then three days more and add omega 3 oil. I have read a lot saying to introduce a tablespoon at a time of only one veggie. So far he seems ok with a mix of squash, carrot and spinach, but I just want to see what any of you parents suggest.

Do you have Yellow Pages where you are? Just look up Physicians, and then Pediatricians. If they’re still in business, they’re all good.
If you have trouble, call your closest library, and ask for the reference dept. It’s their job to answer your question.
