Dental Hygienist Or Rn?

which should i take?
I like both especially if i work w/ kids.. in nursing i’d like to work in pediatrics or eventually in the NICU
In dental id like to work in pediatric dental care (i love kids)
could i take both? im going for an associates degree.
I want to help ppl but would also like to someday have a family n id like a flexible, good paying job.. both pay good i live in Houston n i’ve searched around pay for RN is @ $30 n for dental is $30-36, im pretty sure i could easily get a job in both
Which would you recommend?
Ive also thought about becoming a dentist somewhere in the future
right now id like a 2yr degree in either R.D.H or R.N.
BUT IM CONFUSED I DONT KNOW WAT TO DO!
PLZ GIMMIE SOME ADVICE =(

    You can’t do both at the same time..they are both way too intense and demanding programs.
    I would probably recommend nursing right now. I have not heard good things about the job market for Dental Hygienists, but there is always a need for nurses. My best friend has been graduated from DH since May & still has not found a job. Also, nursing is much more flexible, meaning that if you start off in one specialization such as ER and really dislike it, you can always change to different area of nursing.
    If you haven’t already, I highly recommend that job shadow both careers to get a better idea of a typical day in each.
