I was wondering if someone could explain 1) what each does
2) what would be the best to go into, which is the highest money maker?

Sorry to see you’ve been waiting for an answer for a while. Probably because you are in the wrong category. Alt med is for non-pharma interventions (which anesthesia is not). You might try the Other category under health. Probably more people acquainted with allopathic care there, who will know the answer better than us herb pushers.
Income is more related to practice situation and area of the country you practice in than in subspecialization. In fact, the more specialized you are, the more likely you’ll work in an academic setting, which pays fairly poorly.
I don’t have the time or energy to give a full explanation of what each of the categories above does. If you’re smart enough to go to med school, you’re smart enough to do that research yourself.
As for which is the best to go into – you make that decision with your heart, not with your wallet. If you’re planning to go into anesthesia for the money, let me assure that it will not be worth what you have to put into it to get there. And, we don’t want you.
