My 6 year old has been suffering from excessive vomiting for over 5 years now. I’ve taken her to riley hospital for over 3 years now with no answers. she complains of stomach pain, vomiting, headaches. she also swells and has gained a significant amount of weight which is unexplainable by anyone. she is not a lazy child she is very active. I recently received a call from her school threatening to call social services about the number of days she has missed due to doctor visits and vomiting. I am at my wits end dealing with everything and it seems as if no one believes me or can help me . does anyone have any advice???

Since you’ve been taking her to Riley, I assume you’re in Indiana. Riley is certainly a good children’s hospital with GI specialists, but if you’re unsatisfied there are other options. South of Riley you could visit Kosair in Louisville. I’m not sure of your geography, so that might not be convenient.
The American Academy of Pediatics has a subspecialist listing by geography to assist with exactly your type of issue, however. I’ve attached the link below.
