I want to become a pediatric nurse practitioner when I get older because I love kids and I want to help them.
What are the steps from college to become one, and can you go over it step by step?
I already take some medical related classes in High School.

This is not my area of expertise, but in case no one answers (which sucks) here goes. To be a nurse practitioner you need at least masters (PhD’s are available as well). The preparation would be similar to being a doctor since it is post-grad. Schools that prepare you well for post-grad would be the wisest choice. The premed subjects are well known so I won’t bore you with them – whatever college you get into will tell you – so I will limit myself to the schools I think will give you the best preparation. IMHO they are Cal-tech, Harvey Mudd and Rose Hullman:

All of the above schools will help you getting admitted to graduate school and provide excellent preparation. The choice will really be on which one you can get into. Cal-tech is the hardest (you will need to be standout student to get in), Harvey Mudd is the next hardest (you need to be a very good student to get in), Rose Hullman is the easiest – you will need to be a good student with a GPA about -3.3-3.4 to get in.
For now concentrate on getting into a good college.
Thanks
