Find a different GP. If he only wants you to go to one facility and will not listen to your wishes, then he is not practicing medicine properly. I would look to see if he is getting a kick back from that place.

just answered a simular question
my daughter used to break out in itchy hives for no reason
(like really bad!),
at say 2 am, then disappear after an hour
once i waited in doc office and they disappeared before she saw him so no help there
then took her to a specia/different type of Chiropractor and she was ok for ages then
now only bad now if she eats whole wheat' or 'stressed'
find a recommended acupuncturist, nearby, or homeopath
it was a miracle when at 2 , she ate a burger from McD
(but veggie now) and was fine, no bad reactions
also she may need a very bland diet
all i can add different to the other advice that is good

my son has anaphylaxis to egg milk nuts fish and a few e numbers too, last sunday my 2 yr old daughter whom has up until then tolerated everything, had anaphylactic shock im still waiting to get her tested, you have a right to use or not use any health proffessional you should not have to change your doctor to be refferred to a different hospital if i was you i would definitely write to some one about your doctor and get your child signed up with another doctor a.s.a.p if your daughter does have an allergy she will need better treatment in the future than she is getting right now i have seen the most extreme end of food allergies and it is not pretty if my doc was like yours idve most likely chinned him by now,

holland & barrett do food allergy testing, and they test all types of food except nuts. it costs around 45 pounds and they do it every month, i'm not sure if they test children but i'm sure you could find out by calling your local store

A lot of health shops do allergy testing, Im sure if you explained to them they wouldnt have a problem doing it, as if its found she has to have a special diet, its more custom for their shop
