How Do I Become A Pediatric Nurse?

i want to be those nurses who kids go to for physical check ups, not the ones that save lives on the surgery tables or anything like that.
do i major in RN ? if so, what do i do afterwards ? are there special classes for pediatric nursing? Help!

    You have to go to school and get your BSN (Bachelor of science in nursing) and then pass the NCLEX exam to be certified as an RN. Then, you basically get on the job training for the area you want to work in or take further classes if you want more advanced degrees. Good luck!
