I’m Thinking About Going Into The Field Of Pediatric Speech Therapy.?

Filed in Category Pediatric Therapy

I was just wondering the details. What would I be doing, how hard it is to get into the programs, and how hard the classes were. Thanks for the help!

    Check out:http://www.bls.gov/oco/home.htm
Either use the A-Z index, or the search function (speech language pathologist). You should be able to find out all about what you’ll need as far as education, and what the nature of the work consists of, among others, such as pay and job outlook.
As for the college courses needed, search under your university of choice’s course list for Speech & Pathology. You should be able to find a course sequence, course descriptions, and FAQ’s about the program itself.

Excellent field. Lots and lots of jobs. Pay is excellent. Go for it. All I know is that you need a masters degree in speech language pathology. There are also some clinicals. I work with speech therapists and they love there jobs.
