what are some good Nursing and Pediatric Nursing colleges? i was planning in getting a degree in Nursing, then specializing in Pediatric Nursing. I live on the East coast, and was wondering what were some good colleges? thanks!

There are no dedicated pediatric nursing colleges–you do a general nursing program and specialize with on the job training when you are done. Many nursing schools are adequate–very few jobs will not hire someone based upon where they went to school as long as they are competent & pass the NCLEX. So look into schools in the area you want for the price you want to pay. There are community colleges as well as universities….its an open field. For peds in general, you will do better getting a job at a dedicated pediatric hospital–so you might want to look for a job close by such a hospital (such as DuPont Childrens in Delaware; etc).
