Pediatric Cancer Section Of Hospital?

Filed in Category Pediatric Hospitals

A few years ago my cousin was in a Children’s hospital (diagnosed with diabetes), and on her floor there was a hallway off to the side, through double doors. The lights were funny, there was a buzzing sound, and it smelled very strange. I remember all the patients room’s lights were off, and usually the door was open. My family says this was a cancer section, but is that true? I haven’t been able to find anything on the internet to explain the special lighting and the strange reason all the room’s lights were off. Was this a cancer section or something else?
