My niece, age 16, was born with a congenital heart defect. The defect was repaired, but her body has outgrown the surgery and she is not doing well. She is presently at a hospital in the midwest…does anyone have experience with excellent pediatric cardiology departments in the U.S. and would be able to recommend a hospital or doctor?

Texas Children’s Hospital / Baylor, Houston
All of these have just first class medical staff and positive environments. There are certainly others around the country, but I have extensive experience with all of these and I would take my child there without hesitation.
I don’t in which state of usa you are in but I will recommend you to go to web site at and you can ask any cardiologist /doctors on email at their tel. address, to help you out.
My love to your niece.
