Pediatric Nursing- Do You Have To Work In Emergancy Or Can You Just Work On The Ward All The Time? Thanks. Xx?

i was just wonderin. coz its what i want to do but not sure i would work well in the emergancy bit.

    It depends on the individual hospital’s floating policies. In our hospital, a pediatric Rn would float to NICU or LDRP, maybe ER if she/he feels comfortable there. But, I suggest that you get trained and comfortable with pediatric ER nursing and have an NRP and PALS certification at all times.
