Filed in Category Pediatric Therapy

I would like to be a pediatric physical therapist, for this would i need to train to be a paediatrician and specialise in physical therapy or train to be a physical therapist and specialise in pediatrics? This sounds confusing but hopefully you understand what i mean, thank you x

You need to get a Doctorate in PT (DPT) then specialize in Pediatrics.
Visit http://www.apta.org under the education section

So, you need to do a degree in Medicine, do your foundation years, and then go onto further training, all of that may take 10 years if not more…
*Edit: You’ve said you need to become a paediatrician, and in order to become a paediatrician, you must study Medicine.
