My son, 21-months, is seeing a Peds Pulmonologist tomorrow due to recurrent pneumonia – 4 times in 6 months. I am just wondering if anyone has some suggested questions for me to ask the doctor. I have some questions of my own obviously, why is he getting pneumonia so often?, but would like to be as thorough as possible and ask as many questions as possible! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!~

My son is asthmatic and he had pneumonia twice before age 3. Demand that they do an asthma screening and full allergy testing on your child! It sounds like the pneumonia may be a secondary infection of a chronic asthmatic condition.
