I am a rather new nurse and have been working hospice since September. I do crisis care, so by the time I get to a patient they are either transitioning, or actively dying. I love my job, and am interested in any helpful information so that I can care for my patients and their families to the best of my ability. I went to the book store and can only seem to find books specializing in maternal, peds, critical care, and other “popular” nursing areas. I can’t seem to find any on hospice and palliative care. I would really appreciate and suggested readings!
