I’m planning on being a pediatric nurse and i was wondering if i should go to a trade school or a community college. I’m planning to get a Bachelor’s Degree and i was wondering which would be better. I don’t want to have to go to a regular school were they will make me take classes like i’ve taken in high school like math and history and all those. If i went to a regular school would my associate take longer then it would if i went to a trade school? Would i get a chance to learn more about nursing at a trade school? Im really confused and i want to get ready for the furture please help T.T

I hate to tell you this but to get a bachelor’s degree you have to take classes like math and history etc….
Now, if you want to become a registered nurse there are trade school that will give you the diploma that you need in order to seat for the registered nurse licensing exam. You should definitely look into those program.
Associate degree program might also require you to take courses that have nothing to do with your major such as history, math etcc……
Keep in mind, the higher your degree, the higher your pay will be. Great career choice. Good luck with your studies.

I’m going to be a pediatrician, so I’ve been thinking about the same thing. I’ve finally decided to go to my community college, and get my A.A. in nursing, and being a nurse while i’m going to school to become a pediatrician. The trade school is good if you want to do something specific and only want to learn about that one thing, instead of wasting time learning stuff you won’t use. Community college is better, because if spend that time and money at the trade school, and decide you don’t want to do that anymore, then you’ve waster time and money, but if you get an A.A. in nursing, to be a pediatric nurse, then decide to do something else, you’ll have the A.A. and other options. I’m sorry if this is confusing, but community college just makes more sense to me.
