For those careers, you need a 4-year college degree (major in whatever, but take the pre-med classes in bio, chem, physics and math), 4 years of medical school, and many more of residency. In high school, take all the math and lab sciences you can. Don’t skimp on chem and physics to take anatomy or health – you need the lab sciences, and you need to prepare to do well in them in college. And take the rest of the courses necessary to go to college – English, history, foreign language, etc.
There should be courses like careers in healthcare, anatomy and physiology, high level math (or medical math). Consult your counselor and you can get a course listing. A&P is a must though if you plan to take it at the University level.
