I have a 8 year old son who still wets. I’ve tried waking him before I go to bed, restricting fluids in the evening, drugs (DDAVP tabs – expensive that didn’t work) and it is really affecting his self esteem. I finally got him to a pediatric urologist who said everything was “fine” and told me that a bedwetting alarm is the most effective cure for him. Anyone heard of the malem alarm he recommended?

I’m glad to hear that you are finally trying a bed wetting alarm. It IS the most effective treatment to stop children wetting the bed. Unfortunately many doctors don’t know about them. In several weeks, you will be wondering why you didn’t use one before!
Good luck. Yes, the Bedwetting Store has the best selection on the net. Just type in bedwetting alarm on yahoo search. Read their reviews/comparisons so you get the best for your son.

Yes – go to http://www.noBedwetting.co.uk and they will help you out with choosing an alarm. I tried it and it worked within a couple of weeks !
Check the Bedwetting Store. They sell alot of different alarms, including the Malem models. You can find alarms from different manufacturers in almost all price ranges. I agree with your son’s doctor – the Malem alarms are the best!
