One of my 13 month old twins who was born premature at 26 weeks goes to pediatric rehab twice weekly for an hour to take physical and occupational therapy. Should I pull him out for a week or two during this swine flu mess or would I be over reacting? We’ve had two ‘confirmed’ cases of swine in our area. Also, my son has chronic lung and does not attend daycare.

You should discuss this with the therapists, there may be risks to postponing therapy.
Also keep in mind that this isn’t going to blow over in a few weeks and more than likely its going to come back in the fall.
I agree with Mystic. I think there is a great chance that there will be a reemergence of the swine flu, and if that is the case, pulling your baby out of therapy may not be protecting them as much as you think. There are major implications for changing a schedule for therapy, and it may be more of a hinderance than a help – Talk to your pedi, and to the therapists and of course, above all else, trust your instinct. If it says keep him home, see if the therapist can make a house call.
You should err on the side of caution, particularly given the circumstances of H1N1 swine flu! You need to check out http://SwineFluNotice.com and find out what you need to do to protect yourself and your family.

I think you should be on the safe side and keep your babies home given the fact that you have confirmed cases in your area and that your babies are so young! Things should calm down soon with this whole swine flu thing!
